The Production Operator is an essential contributor to production operations. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the operator works closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of production lines, compliance with quality standards, and achievement of performance objectives. The operator serves as the point of reference at their workstation and ensures the efficiency and reliability of the equipment under their responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment (packaging machines, slicers, metal detectors, printers, cooling towers, labelers)
• Identify and resolve operational issues
• Make adjustments according to product type
• Complete production reports
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Comply with health and safety regulations

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma (DES) or equivalent
• Experience in an industrial environment (an asset)
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Autonomous with strong teamwork abilities
• Successful completion of pre-employment tests (math and logic)

Benefits

• Hourly rate: $26.39/hour
• Night premium: $1.50/hour (12:00 AM to 6:00 AM)
• Evening premium: $0.90/hour (6:00 PM to 12:00 AM)
