Profile
La Fournée Dorée Canada is looking for General Helper to join our team at our Alexandria, ON plant. If you'd like to join a fast-growing family business and expand your skills in industrial baking, this is your chance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the operator in his work;
- Identify and solve workstation operating problems;
- Assist the operator in making the necessary adjustments according to the type of bread produced (e.g., changing labels, bags, flour, etc.);
- Perform any related tasks deemed necessary by the foreman.
- Ensure cleanliness of workstation;
- Comply with good manufacturing practices and occupational health and safety rules.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Completed DES or equivalent training.
- Experience in an industrial environment (an asset).
- To speak French
- Detail-oriented, self-reliant and team player.
Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $21.27/hr.
- Night premium: $1.25/hr. (24:00 and 6:00)
- Evening premium: $0.75/hr. (18:00 to 24:00)
- Attendance bonus: $0.75/hr. (certain restrictions apply)
